History
How this temple came to be
A long-standing Hanuman shrine in central Lucknow, popular among office-going devotees and Hazratganj's daily visitors. The Sankat Mochan invocation, to the remover of difficulties, has made this temple a steady fixture of Tuesday and Saturday observance for generations of central-Lucknow residents. Restored several times across the 20th century without losing its compact, neighbourhood character.
